I guess there was no other choice for the date, maybe it won't affect much, but that is the weekend after the Buick/Ford shootout in Noble. That sucks because any of the faster guys that were considering attending Noble will probably do the Nats instead, leaving us down some big guns against the Fords. I would have liked to attend the Nats but maybe next year.
 
The retired folks are going to have a great fall that is for sure! Reynolds, Noble, and BG within 2.5 weeks. Lucky for you all!

Someone should consider perminantly moving this race, to this time of year. Better weather for racing, less likely hood of a rain out, etc..it is a no brainer to me.
 
I dont know about most of you, but October scares me. I have been at the Buick vs Ford Shootout before in single digit temps, if not teens. It was miserable!!! There is always the possibility of that even in Kentucky for the Nationals. Depending on the hype and talk here, we may or may not show up to the Nationals this year.
