Went to the track last night in less than perfect conditions. Temperature was 93* and the humidity was around 70%. 10.95 @ 126 with a 1.60 60' on drag radials.
So there it is, high 10's in the heat, first time out with the blower.

Nice times, now is that still just the blower with no other bolt ons ?
other then the wheels + tires + lowering.
No headers,off road x-pipe,intake etc.

Anybody want one ready to go, with a decent price,the car itself was probably about $35k or so, before the mods.
It's a bit diff setup but must be a blast to drive,procharger with a 6-spd.
For an everyday driver or for racing i'd prefer the auto with the twin screw,(I love my 02 with that setup) but the 6-spd would be fun too, going thru the gears.
Dammit now i want one of each.

Yeah I have a 3" OR X pipe. Thats the only mod other than the blower.

My friend was there last night, he's got a procharger with a M6 transmission. He made a couple of passes on his stock tires, he went low 13's at 122 mph. His car dyno'd 603 rwhp, just can get it down the track without good tires.

That is a very good looking car. I'd drive it even though it's a Ford.:tongue: Impressive how the new muscle cars don't need nearly as much work to make power.

My buddies new 5.0 has cold air intake,lidio tunes,410 gears,orx pipe N/A went 11.88 @119mph (stock automatic and converter) then added NX Kit 150 shot and went 10.77@ 127mph. and another 25 shot too the NOS for a 175 shot and went 10.55@ 128.5mph in a super hot day.

thats quite impressive Damon for basically a DD. chit, thats impressive for guys trailering their cars to the track.

Yeah, it's impressive for the heat. I expect some mid 10's in cooler weather.
