My 1978 Cutlass. It was a rust bucket. I finally got it painted 4-28-10. It was a 5yr project (due to lack of time & $ )

So you're the science guy? LOL Car looks great and I understand about the cash. I'm strugling here myself but it's going foward at least. You gonna make to one of the races coming up?

races

Thanks, I had the car out only twice this year. The closet track is about 2-1/2 hrs away for me.

The circle burner track near me, 20 minutes away, has 100 ft drags. I went to that twice also. My best 100 ft was a 2.31.

My best 1/4 mile so far was 11.16 @ 119.95. Mostly 11.30 - 11.70's now

Orphan Car

Yeah , it's hard to fit in with this car. It was a "H" code car, it came with a 305ci Ch__y 4bbl. The Olds community doesn't like it because it is not Olds powered. It is not a Buick anything. It is not really a "G" body, but it really
isn't an "A" body.

But it is GM and rear wheel drive and I only paid $500. for it when I got it. It was a real enjoyable project.

This is a 468 in BBC that I bought from my neighbor when he bought a 540 Shafiroff motor.

Yep

Yeah, it does but I mostly did it to piss the former owner of the rat motor off. It worked, and I also went quicker with it than he did.
