Motor mount situation

Fellas, need ur help... so today I made a major mistake. Went on to install an 85 GN HA motor in my 84 Buick Regal Limited non turbo and the non turbo V6 frame motor mounts do not line up with the turbo V6 motor mounts... So my question is : Do the 86 & up frame motor mounts work with the 85 & down HA mounts do they line up ? Or do I have to buy the HA mounts no matter what ? Thanks fellas.... I did find a set but off an 87 here on the forum so just want to know before I purchase them. Thanks again.

those dont looklike any NA v6 perches ive ever seen.. look like olds v8 perches
the NA and turbo cars use the same motor mounts and frame perches and they dont need to be moved to swap from NAv6 to turbo v6

also note the motor mounts and frame perches are specific for right and left ,

i should have a set of perches (im in NJ) if you are having trouble finding some closer shoot me a pm

All the frame pads and motor mounts are the same from 78 to 87 for the 3.8 and 4.1 rwd g bodies. You may have put them on backwards. In other words your left is on your right and vice versa.

look at the pics of the frame perch (driver side pic) charlie and then tell me you feel that they could be v6 perches ....

Ok dam it totally forgot that I pulled out a chevy V6 out of my Regal and those mounts on the white table are off the 85 GN and the ones on the frame r chevy... so I know I need frame mounts so my question is : Do the frame mounts off intercooled also work for the non intercooled ? My HA motor does have them on but need the frame mounts... found 2 fellas that will ship but they are 87's will they work ? Thanks

I'll get good close up pics later today... Charlie, what do u mean to swap them to backwards ? Only if they are intercooled ? Or if HA install as normally

buick V6 frame perches (like shown in my pics ) are same NA(carb) or turbo (carb,hot air or intercooled doesnt matter) ... and motor mounts are same NA or turbo

its just that there are right and left mounts and charlie wasnt looking at your pics and suggested maybe you had them reversed ..but thats not the issue in your case , you just have the wrong frame perches for installing a buick V6
