Hi All,

I 'm ordering a set of N52 Neodymium magnets to hold some wood trim pieces on a "water feature" I'm building into a wall in my home. They're adhesive-backed and the seller states I need pick N or S pole facing up. (yes, I've e-mailed him, no response) Does it matter? This isn't rocket science, I just need the mags to stick to a piece of steel trim. On another note, the feature will be made from 316SS, which I'm ASSuming is non-magnetic? This will entail punching some 24ga discs and gluing them to the SS so the mags have something to hold to. No biggie, just adds to the "stack" thickness and requires routing a hole in the trim so it all lays flat against the wall...

The seller did eventually get back to me and confirmed my suspicion that polarity doesn't matter unless one is doing magnet-to-magnet. I ordered a dozen "N" mags...
