Lund headlight covers

Does anyone have a solution for the poorly fitting headlight covers made by Lund? They come with Velcro tape that goes on the inner rim of the headlight bezel but the rubber rim attached to the cover is too large for the bezel.

They fit horriblly.

I'm considering trimming all the rubber off the covers but I'm looking for anyone who has had this problem before and what they might have done to fix it......

Those Lunds fit terrible don't they. I tried triming the glass and re gluing the rubber back on. I butchered them up pretty good. Looked like crap. I got lucky and had one fly off somewhere and I threw the other one away.I'd never buy another set of theres.Good luck.
