I've got a set sitting in my garage. What do I need to do replace my stock 28's.........new chip or re-calibrated MAF.........or just slap 'em on and go????? Usual mods.......hotwired Walbro, open K&N, adj.FPR...........etc.........
you dont need to change the MAF but you will need a new chip. i dunno who burns chips for 38s but if it was me i would sell them on ebay and pick up some blue tops or some accel yellow tops (some flow rate as the blue tops and easier to find new) most chip burners have 36s down to a science i would not mess with 38s kinda an odd ball size in TRs.
I have quite a few chips for 38's if you are interested. I had 38's in a TR i used to have. The car i have now has 009's so i have no use for them.
