LT1 into 85 GN?

Has anyone ever tried this? How difficult is to set up the computer system? Want to make sure I won't be in over my head before I commit

I'm sure it would fit with the right engine mounts. FAST and other systems have set-ups for the LT1, and I think they are plug-in-play. These systems also have engine harnesses to go with the engine, they may need a little thought but not much, just the correct adapter harness. My dad is installing a FAST on an LT1 in the next few weeks.
