Here are a few pics of LS954's build. It's a .030 109 with forged pistons, ported heads, roller cam,6262 turbo. It should fly. Crank is in,pistons are in,next step are the heads.

Is that the GM front cover gasket or did you have to go with the other one? Were the clearances fine with the cam button?

Well LS954 is back on the road!! He should be on a 300 mile trip today. I will get some finished pics up hopefully Sunday. I 've got it set low..16-17psi for now just to get some miles on it,but it feels nice and strong.

Is the engine painted silver? If it is, I like that....clean looking and easy to find oil leaks...if one should ever occur.

Yes it is silver. Sorry but I don't guarantee against oil leaks it's a BUICK,they leak;). They always stay dry for a little while then something starts to seep and it usually gets worse. Now if it drips from the word go I have an issue.:)

Pics kind of tailed off at the but here are some more. Santana I have more than are on this thread. I will get Ginny to make you a CD.;)

thank steve i didnt even know these were posted. Yea i forgot about the cd ill have to get that from you before you leave this weekend.
The car is running great i believe its at around 18lbs and absolutely no knock ive even turned off the alky. I have about another 50 miles to go before i change the oil out and start turning up the boost. Excellent job very satisfied with the work and highly recommended if anyone in the area or surrounding areas needs work done to their TR.

Thanks for the kind words! Now do ,me a favor and leave me some feedback for future prospects to look at:D

I will ask Ginny to make that CD tonite.

Remember, turn it up slooowly watching knock and fuel at the same time!

Wow, that looks great! By the way, thanks for the advice last weekend. I ended up walking away, no regrets. Sorry again about calling you at work.
