You should scoot over to LS1Tech and do a search, lot's of good info. I have this combination in my Maverick. For most LS motors, you'll need a flywheel/flexplate, spacer, and longer bolts and you'll be short one bellhousing bolt on the LS block. Also, you'll need to grind some clearance in the trans case for the rear cover bolt heads and "oblong" the converter mount holes in the flexplate (if auto).

Russ, thanks for the info and pics. Especially clearancing for cover bolts. Found the adapter on the PATC site. And thanks for steering to LS1tech. GN motor in the S10 must be wicked!
