Hey just went through the smog test yesterday and the GN blew clean through the pipes. Thanks Poppa Lou for building me such a sweet engine.

Thanks Flaco, your car is testament that performance can be smog legal if you choose the right recipe.

What down pipe and cat did you pass with?

X2. Injectors, MAF, chip, etc? I would like to keep the T smog legal for now, and maybe in the future when the motor need freshened step up to a roller cam and good heads, maybe injectors, etc. Just getting ideas for the future, if I ever change anything on the car. (way later)

Flaco:
Just out of my curiosity, did you run your 11.3 & 120 MPH with a stock down pipe & stock cat?

Gary, Flaco can't help you if you would like to know anything about his combination call me this is not the place to talk about anything other than wine & roses with a state smog inspector as a moderator. This country is now in the hands of the worst anti automotive socialists in history & what better place than these forums to give the gestapo all the info needed to bust you. The days of doing whatever you want with your own property are over. Time to use our heads !

Thanks anyway, Lou.
I did not know that we had a moderator for a state smog inspector?
If you are referring to Joe Cheung (gofstbuick) he is an administrator.
Many thanks for the offer of a discussion about wine & roses. I'll pass.
As far as the query itself, I did not know that a car could not be modified
to run on a track and Flaco would have to have run the
car on a track to develop the ET & the MPH. Hence the query. Please
consider the query retracted.
