Ok I took my car to the dragstrip last week and ran it.

Then just a couple of days ago I went and changed the fluid.Thought it would be a good idea since it had been a while. And I had raced it.

Now the tranny has a slight whine to it.I havn't drove it since just ran it through the gears. Also I have about a half quart too much fluid in it .It's above the top of the add line.Could this be causing it or do I have more problems.
It's a light whine while it is in gear.

I used straight fluid not a mix.

Any help would be appriciated.

A converter that is developing problems can make a whining noise. They will whine more in gear because you are exerting a load on the converter internals. Perhaps your trips down the strip hurt your converter.

You should use tranny fluid insted of wine for your tranny:D
Sorry i couldnt resist

Maybe that was it.She does whine alot when I push the gas pedal.

No wait she wasn't even in the car then.

Oh well I guess I will keep on looking for the answer.
