Lesabre Grand National

I've seen one in person in SC. Not much to look at. Rare though.

You in Richmond IN huh?
Funny, there's also a Richmond KY. I just learned something new.

Wonder if we have any Richmonds in the North?

Wow...you can buy a real GN for that kind of money! Sorry, but putting GN badges on a lowly Lesabre and calling it a 'GN' don't make it one. Why Buick did it is beyond me. Cleanest one i've seen though........

Very clean and rare car.

If look at the badge.....the "6" is all one color.

Why did Buick make it? Because that's the body style that they ran in the Winston Cup races during that time period. The 81-84 Regal body was unbeatable until Chevy slapped on a rubber nose to the brick-like Monte Carlo. Many of the GM teams that ran in NASCAR switched over to the MCSS in 84-85, then later the MCSS Aerocoupe. A few diehard Buick teams tried their luck with the LeSabre with some some success, hence this little-known replica.
