largest tire on GNX spec wheels

What is the largest MT tire that we can run on a GTA wheel with rear GNX wheel offset without issues? So basically a rear GNX wheel.

I have done a search but could not find a definitive answer.

if you roll the lips or cut them off as the gnx was .. 255/50-16

on the gbody rims that are widened to 9.5 with 4.5 backspace and closer to frame, and even thats tight with rolled lips depending on ride height and rear movement

I run the 255/50/16 and my wheels are offset the same as the GNX!! I added GNX flares also!! No rubbing issues, of course I got a bumper sticker that says
NO FAT B!T€$@@!! lol

Sits a little high in the rear for my likings!! Gonna try a set of 1" drop springs in the rear see where it gets me

I have 275/45/16 Toyo on gnx style wheels in the back. They're close to the frame but don't rub. They have almost 3 inches to the fender though. Need to get spacers for them lol

It's a shame Mt doesnt make 265 275 and 285 at 50 by 16 in an ET street radial.

Not sure I kinda put the radar on the 255s!! Evil it looks like 2"s up top and 2"s from my frame!! I have bags but there virtually empty for the winter! The car is stock height as of right now! I hope this helps! If you need any more pictures or anything hollar at me DAWG!

M&H 275/55/16 DRs. I run a small 3/16" spacer and on Front GTAs they don't rub the frame and I haven't rolled the lips. It had variable rate springs and it was high enough it didn't matter if the lips were rolled or not, I changed them out for regular springs and the tires tucked in the wheel well some. I want to swap to the 17"x9 GTAs when/if I get the GN running again and plan to use 275/50/17 M&H, just hope they fit as well as the 16"

I was thinking of getting the m&h for my 16 x 7.5" rims. My question is how do they compare to the mt in equal size? I'd like to do 1.5 60' without a lot of spin.
