Anyone here know anything about Large Scale Landscaping design?
I'm trying to find a means to filter out Red Dirt, naturally within a short distance.
Scenario:
When rain falls, the run off goes into a properties landscaping. the run-off consists mainly of red dirt. the run off get's into the landscaping's pond and contaminates it with, what was once clear, to a murky reddish brown.
I'm trying to find a means of filtering the water through natural and biological means, and integrating it with the surounding landscaping. finding out what kind of methods, plants, micro-organisms that can filter out the red sut from the water run off.
