Kyowa Racing Rims

I don't normally do this but this really upset me. I bought a set of rims from Kyowa racing for my 05 Legacy GT. Into the second summer on the car the clear coat started to peel off. Kyowa said their clear coat and paint warranty is for 1 year and would not do anything about it. Now here is the kicker. The rims were only on the car for around 9 months (summer driving only)... 3 months into the second summer.



Long story short...be careful when buying any Kyowa rims as they will not stand behind there product.

I can name about 10 companies that'd do the same thing. If you can find them in Honda Tuning mag...dont buy them.
You'll think I am crazy, but scuff them and repaint w/ duplicolor wheel paint. I had to do that once and it looked better than OEM.

The painted part of the wheel still looks good. The clear is peeling off of the polished part of the wheel. I guess the entire wheel would need stripped painted and then clear again.
