key stuck in ignition?

Well i got the car back from the shop yesterday and i finally got to drive it again. The only problem is i got the car home and now the key is stuck in the ignition. The problem seemed like a simple fix like turn the wheel and it would come out well that didnt work. So i thought maybe its not all the way in park. that wasnt it either. so i figured i would just turn it on again and try again to get the key out. Thats when i discovered that i cant get the ignition to turn to start either it will go to on and off and thats it. I can not get it to turn to start or to the position to release the key. Any ideas on this one guys?

It could be a problem with the car not going fully in park. Shift the gears again watching behind the steering wheel. Once the car is back in park, the area of the column that you saw turning, turn that by hand to see if you can get the key out. I bet the shifter linkage needs adjusting.
