Is he kidding??? WTF is going on with him? Why would he say such a creepy thing. Does he believe we're that much of a Gay friendly country!??? Keep up with pushing that GaySh!t on me. I'm old school, and believe Gays need to get back in the freaking closet. I'm sick of this repugnant, relaxed atitude towards immorality. They can be gay, but don't advocate it.

What a disgusting comment. Up till that comment, I was appreciating his little videography of his life. No disrespect, but he needs to shut his piehole.

Who cares? I can think of 100 other things that I actually give a crap about. That aint one of them.

I am more concerned about Crime, Taxes, Gas prices, Wars, etc....etc. Who gives a flying crap about a comment like that? It bears no difference in anything.

You should be more concerned about things that actually matter and make a difference in your life.

I have been in law enforcement for 12 years now and have probably arrested approximately 500 people or so. None that I can remember were openly gay men. I don't advocate homosexuality nor am I against it. I dont give a crap either way because it dosen't affect my life in any significant way. Yours either.

Gay men usually pay taxes, have jobs, obey the laws, respect law enforcement and are usually well educated. That's more then I can say for the 500 scumbags that have assaulted me or shot at me and affected my life in a negative way. Crime, economy, etc.... That's what should set you off because it affects your life.

Well, you may not have arrested them but somebody has. :eek: The prison system is full of them and not all of them were "punked out" after they were incarcerated and not to mention the ones that are doing the "punking". A lot of those guys don't consider themselves to be "gay" but no matter if you're pitching or catching you're still playing ball. The funny thing is that their wives and girlfriends still come to see them every week. If only they knew.

How many perverts, child molesters, stalkers, rapists, etc are experimenting these day with all the deviant sexual websites, and most include some of those nasty gay sites?? They start off with "regular" porn, then are "graduating" onto child porn, both male and female. CHILDREN!

Great Point regarding Gays in Jail/Prison- I guess you're not talking to too many correction officers, because I don't need to slew around % Percentages to inform you of how much "GAY SEX" is in Prisons and Jails. Just put on your cable TV, and you can watch the Prison Documentarys, and see how much of that stuff is happening. Many Criminals and Repeat Criminals, Are or Have had some gay experience.

That being sad...

I don't hate Gays. I'm straight. I'm not a gay hater. I think there are quite a few talented, and very sincere gay men, which I feel may have even quite possibly been born that way. The It's just a defect in my opinion. Almost like having Downs Syndrome.

But I'm just a person that believes that stuff is personal and belongs in the closet. Doesn't need to be advocated by Policticians who people are supposed to be looking up to, and setting a good moral example for a healthy mind and future.

How come that lifestyle was shunned 30 years ago? Is this a civil right too? Or a sign of the times too....

Yeah, I believe we have a lot bigger issues to deal with. Gas Prices, The Economy, The Deficit, The War in Iraq/Afghanistan, Dictators and Rogue Countries (now including a possible new Cold War with Russia), Illegal Immigration (too many of them here too), Social Security, Outsourcing All of our jobs, Mortgage Crisis.... and the list goes on. I'm with you on that.

BTW- P.S. Thank You for arresting people who commit crimes and taking bad guys off the street. I mean it sincerely, I appreciate you.

Healthy to who? I'm not to sure about what God tells us to do because I have never spoke with him. I'm pretty sure you probably haven't either.

I also find it hard to believe that any gay man or woman makes a choice to live that lifestyle. Considering the hate and discrimination one would have to endure their entire life I would think it's probably a condition they were born with. Considering God is responsible for the creation of man that comment really dosent make much sense considering the way one is born is up to God and not that individual person.

I'm sure one could argue that it's a choice to feel and act that way but personally I think that's a stretch. Common sense would dictate a man to have an interest in a woman vs. a man if it was simply a choice. I can't see why any human being would subject themselves to a lifetime of ridicule and abuse if they had a choice. What would it accomplish?

I don't personally know any gay men or women myself but I know plenty of drug dealers that I have to see day in and day out. I am not friends with those drug dealers but I work in a violent city that is riddled with crime and violence and can say without a shadow of a doubt that a drug dealers (who would be straight on the surface or he would be subject to being shot by his own people) lifestyle is much more dangerous to you or me then any gay mans lifestyle considering the violence associated with it.

So your question requarding whether the gay mans lifestyle is healthy really dosen't make any sense. I could really care less what two gay men do in the privacy of their home or anywhere else for that matter. That would not affect my health or your heath in any way, shape or form.

Should a politician be making comments pertaining to one sexual preference? Probably not. It really has no beaing on policy or anything that really matters. But the fact that it upsets you enough to create a post about it stating that gays should go back into the closet is a sign of homophobia IMO. Personally, I just don't care one way or the other and neither should political canditates or you for that matter.

But Kennedy is of course an ultra liberal from an ultra liberal family in an ultra liberal state so that should not suprise you all that much. Gay men statistically do vote. Primarily because they are usually well educated, hard working and don't suck (no pun intended:)) the system dry with welfare. So therefore someone like Kennedy is appealing to gay men and women.

It's all about votes in the end.
