Kandy apple red TR?

Im debating on painting my 85 t type kandy apple red, it will have chrome bumpers still.

The car was originally black, has a maroon interior.

I tried searching on here and even google but the only kandy apple red regals showibg up are donks...... And its making it difficult for me to decide if the car will look good or not.

I thought someone on here has one painted kandy apple red?

If so can you post some pictures, thanks

This car is Cadillac Magnetic Red which isnt quite what you are looking for but it is similar and might give you an idea. The color was more red than it appears in the pic but the lighting was a little off when the pic was taken. I may have some better pics of the color and I will check and see. I sold the car to a guy in Daytona FL.

If painting a true candy apple make sure the person painting has done that type of painting before it is a tri coat paint with the top coat shows transparency if not shot correctly looks terrible with dark and light spots showing
