its back, ls turbo inside

i bought this car from a user on here, Art or "yullose" about 6 years ago car was rough need body work big time (which i knew when i bought it) car went 10.95@122 on a unopened long block and a big turbo (c16 and 30+plus psi) i brought the car home to windsor ontario and drove it around raced, broke shit, raced, broke shit, etc etc. finally when i had to change the crank i decided to swap the car.

3 years later almost to the day i last raced it. i brought it to the track,
off the trailer
2.0 60Ft
11.80@120 footbraking off no boost, it eventually went 11.50s@121 footbraking still and pumpgas.
its a junkyard 5.3 with just under 300k
arp rodbolts
arp headstuds
new bearings
thunderwave racing oilpump
ls2 timing chain
brp oilpan and swap mounts
master power 76mm turbo
ebay wastegate and bov
edelbrock vic jr, rails and elbow
60 lb injectors
pte front mount kit (from the buick setup)
th400 and convertor (from the buick setup)
custom 3" driveshaft

The "YUL LOSE" tag is now hanging on the back of a Vette.
I just cannot believe the power of these LS motors when they are boosted. :D

ya put qa1 shocks all the way around so it took a few passes to work it out...

ya that vette is dirty.

300k miles and she's still kickin'... Gotta' love these Ls motors! You can try your hardest to blow 'em up, but they won't give up without a fight.

its john deere blitz black. nothing special.
just got back from milan dragway car

made about 7 passes then something let go in the rearend or something bent car was out of shape and almost touch the wall, thought it might of just spun the tires since it was getting colder out, but it felt really odd driving it down the return road.
here are some pictures from the track

Love the launch pics! Hope it is an easy fix, whatever is broke. Very cool car brother. Love the JD Blitz Black too; that is what covers my engine bay right now. ;)

I don't know, looks pretty good to me. Very.......sinister. I dig it. Makes me second guess the plans I had for my own. The plan is to paint mine myself, but from what I've heard/read to make flat-black really look good is pretty difficult so I'm kinda' scared to undertake something such as that on my first painting attempt.

Well alright! I may very well be stealing this idea then. I don't like the idea of having something the same as somebody else so I'll change it up a bit and add some "me" to it. Now is this actually a John Deere paint that I can order from them?

yes, its a john deere paint i went to a dealer and they had it in stock

They sell it in a rattle can or in a Quart IIRC. The rattle can sprays better than just about any other can paint I have used. Comes out in a nice pattern and very consistent. Love the matte finish!

Awesome! Thanks!

Oh, cool. I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably shoot it with a gun, but might pick up a rattle-can or 2 just in case I need to do some touching up later on or for whatever interior pieces I may or may not spray to match.
