intercooler repair

I did this mid summer and I want to get it repaired[if possible].Its a Mark Jackson 17 row.
I was loading the car on my trailer when the ic smacked the trailer.Luckily the shroud was off at the time.The fan went into about 5 rows of the ic,kinda smashed them up.I think the rows will have to be replaced,I have an extra stocker that can be used as a doner if need be.Any help is apprecieted.


BTW,I now have longer ramps for the trailer

Hi Keith,

Well, I have built a couple of stretch ICs and I really don't believe it would be as easy as "replacing a couple of rows." Have you tried talking to a radiator shop? They may be able to braize it up or something? Some smashed fins aren't a big deal, but, of course, leaks in the tubes are!

Otherwise, maybe contact Keith Mease and see if there is anything he can possibly do for you with your donor IC... you never know!
