intake removal

Quick question. i was removing the intake and i was wondering if u can remove the " throttle " cable and transmission cables from the mount on the dog house instead of removing the throttle cable mount and the lock nut for the throttle cable if that makes any sense.thnx

Yes I dont mess with removing the mount, just the cables.

thanks steve . one more question , how do you remove the throttle cable from the silver piece at the end of the cable?

Just push it forward, towards the front of the car, while holding the throttle in place.
