Intake manifold question...

Are the intake manifolds on the carb'd 3.8L Buick V6's interchangable with those on the injected 3.8L motors?

I believe it could be done. If you put an intake manifold from a Fuel Injected GN it should fit. But with the 3800 (commonly seen in Fwd vehicule) I'm not sure as the head design have been changed

I'm not quite sure what you areasking but a 79 and newer intake will fit on the 84-87 TR SFI motor and on the FWD applications they will fit on 1985 to 1988 3.8s with the VIN code 3 or 86 and 87s with the VIN code B.The VIN code is the 8th character of the VIN. Of course everything is on different ends of the FWD motors so you will have to figure that out.
