you need to set the car on flat surface and carfully measure the linkage arm bolt hole heights and distance then on paper with a scale drawing of the car and those points plotted draw a line throught the front and rear bolts of the upper arms and then a line throught the front and rear bolts of the lower arms and where they intersect is the instant center , not uncommon to find stock G body cars with the center actually 4 feet behind the car ,
to find idealyoull need to find the exact balance point of the car and straight up from there to a line drawn through the cam
one fix was the lower arm relocating brackets like the southsides had and i think metco too that drop the axle mounting point
