Does Anyone Know Where The Instant Center Is Supposed To Be On Our Cars???? Is There A Formula Of What To Do If The Center Is Off?? Please Only Serious Replys Thanks!!!!

you need to set the car on flat surface and carfully measure the linkage arm bolt hole heights and distance then on paper with a scale drawing of the car and those points plotted draw a line throught the front and rear bolts of the upper arms and then a line throught the front and rear bolts of the lower arms and where they intersect is the instant center , not uncommon to find stock G body cars with the center actually 4 feet behind the car ,
to find idealyoull need to find the exact balance point of the car and straight up from there to a line drawn through the cam

one fix was the lower arm relocating brackets like the southsides had and i think metco too that drop the axle mounting point

Thank You , This Stuff Is Pretty Involved But I Heard It Makes A Big Difference In 60 Ft Times.
