Ignition Module testing???

How can you test an ignition module and if the module is bad will the car still seem to idle ok

Most auto parts stores can test it for you,free of charge.

Thank you but can they test the module off of the car or do they need to have the car there b/c it is running so bad that I would not want to drive it there

Yes, you will have to take it off the car and also remove the coil pack for them to test it in the store.
