How are the trees up there? By me, (Middletown,NY area) they seem to have turned really quick. Might have to make the trip up north early this year.

I just spent a week in Central Conn. and made several day trips into Mass. Everything seemed to be right on the verge of turning. Wish I could've stayed another week. Even from the plane, everything seemed green still.

hey...resident of warwick ny chiming in here...

if you really wann asee some nice trees..just take a trip to the southern tier of ny. i'm currently attending alfred state college in alfred ny, and let me tell you what, there is nothing nicer than driving up here on a fall sunday afternoon

or you could just hop onto 17 west and take a cruise through sullivan county, cause its nice through there as well.

Thanks Skillet. Rt17 is pretty nice but it pales to comparison of the Thruway to Albany and then along the Mohawk Trail. I was actually in Blooming Grove today (RT94) and that looked like a really nice place to see the trees, probably in a couple of weeks though.
I try to make a family trip up to Mass at least once a year.
