Well, I drove the GN this morning, and had the up pipe blow off at the top. Never have had a problem since the new 3" up pipe, but I guess the T bolt clamp wasn't quite tight enough. Anyways, it tore up the hood insulator pretty bad. Anybody have any cool ideas for a new insulator? I may go back stock, but really don't want to pay $400 to try to find an NOS liner.

There is a reflective material I got at second skin that is adhesive on one side. I cut it to fit my corvette using the stock hood liner as a template then stuck it on. Looks cool and stops your hood from getting baked.

There is a guy who makes hood liners out of aircraft firewall material for less than $100 @ hoodliners.blogspot.com & he has our buick logo's for them also. Sam
