what should be the ideal turbo from the GT series to fit a TR... 30, 35, 35R, 40, etc???

I want to have a solid idea befor purchasing, goals.... daily driver 500 hp output, looking for great spool up/ high end balance.

Looking forward to your feedback

Thanks.

quick spoolup and 500hp is asking alot and youll need good gas (race ) or alky
500hp puts a full weight TR running low 11.30s 120mph ,
quick spoolup is something hard to put a handle on and is more of a personal taste depending on what you're used to , whats quick to you might seem slow to me , some stockers spool lazy and some quick , you'd have to take a ride in a car with converter and turbo similar to what you want to try and see if it spools ok by your standards and even then it may spool slower or faster depending on many variables between cars and how its tune is set up . a rich tune is safe but doesnt always spool well . with quick spoolup and increased HP also comes the problem of keeping the tires on the pavement

hard to say whats the minimum turbo since a stocker has done 11.37 and will spool like mad but took a really good tune and supporting hardware to do it , traction , alky, and traction . depends how far you are willing to push the limits and how dedicated you are to tuning it .

if you just want to bolt on and go without having to tune to the edge a 61 would be easier to reach your goals .
the gt6152 with proper converter (3200) will get you there both in HP and spooling goals , add an RJC boost controller and spoolup is reasonably quick, freind has one and the RJC made a big difference in how fast power came up, add the BB option and it may be even better at spoolup but then traction will be something to adress with any combo capable of 500hp .

of course if your car is stock youll need to be upgrading for this power level the transmission , suspension , tires , axles ,driveshaft , exhaust (DP) , inlet , injectors , fueling system ,brakes and if you plan to visit the track a roll bar .driveshaft loop, sticky tires would be in order
