O'l George W. surprised the heck outta me today by speaking at the local homebuilder's expo today in Albuquerque......all of us who had booth space were able to see him speak (only about 200 people in attendance) so it was pretty cool. I just thought to myself, 'I'm shaking hands with the most powerful man on the planet.'

I once stink palmed a four star Admiral.

Not the most powerful man in the world, but not crying about not having enough power either.

WOW,that really had to be kewl.you probably dont feel that way till it happens.I would be Honored

Did he find any WMD's at the Home Depot?? or were they on back order?:D

At my previous job, we were honored to have Gov. Pataki come into our store.
We had no idea he was coming, his whole crew just showed up one day. I guess he was speaking in the Syracuse area, and he was on his way back to the city. He stopped into our store with his whole crew and police escort. He sat down and had lunch, shook peoples hands and left awhile later.
Real nice guy. This was probably a little over 3 years ago.
:)

Dude that is awesome!!!! I am sooo jealous:D Click on the hyperlink at the bottom left hand corner of your screen that says

Anyone here ever watch King of the Hill? Remember the episode where Hank shook George W's hand and was disappointed because it was limp? Well, we will finally know the truth.

So Dceptcn, how was that handshake?

You're from the southwest, he's from the southwest and I'm from the southwest so I don't think there is any room for confusion about what kind of handshake the Texan/Republican has.

That's awesome. I'm jealous. I'm sure it's something you'll never forget. I saw Reagan when I was in 4th grade and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Yeah, this goes in the books as one of the cooler famous people I've met.....strangely, getting in to see/hear him was easier than getting onto a plane.....?

Totally uncalled for, and quite frankly the type of thing a dirty socialist would say.

You two butt pirates were bound to come along sooner or later I suppose. It's been awhile since we had a couple of specimens such as yourselves spewing garbage in the lounge. BTW smokin ****s, you like howard stern...we get it.
