i need a motor

yeah I know this is stupid and all, but we are getting into the age of electronics powering cars and a motor is electric powered wereas an engine is fuel powered. Now go ahead and knock me its cool, but it won't be long when you will be on the phone and the guy on the other end is ganna ask "a motor or engine".

HOW MUCH ?

It is all fresh and there are less that 3000 miles on this build and it has one pass on it.

109 block .030 over
RJC girdle (installed RIGHT, no leaks)
Turbo crank .020/.010
Federal Mogul bearings
Stock rods w/ ARP bolts
Stock caps w/ ARP studs
Speed Pro pistons w/ Total Seal TS1 file-fitted ring set
Comp 212/212 .456/.456 hyd. tappet cam
Crower adj. pushrods
Stock rocker arms w/ RJC shaft braces
FULLY ported 8445's w/ 1.77/1.5 valves, have flow sheets
CC980 springs at 1.63"
ARP head studs
RJC steel shim head gasket setup
Champion CNC ported intake milled to match up w/ RJC headgaskets
Stock valve covers
Stock water pump
Stock oil pan

Like I said, motor is practically new, has no issues. Runs super smooth. Everything is balanced very well. Mains are all b/w .0015 and .0017, rods are .0017. Motor has 27 psi oil pressure HOT and has been switched over to synthetic now that the TS1's are nice and sealed up. For what its worth, it has always been ran on C16 and hasn't seen over 24psi boost yet.
On its 1 pass, the car went 103 mph in the 1/8th on 22psi. Did a compression test, high 160's on all six.
$3200.

So- I've been riding(and putting gas in) an electric powered "motor"cycle for the last 42 yrs, and didn't know it? I always thought a motor was something that motorized(produced motion in) a device(be it equipment, or a vehicle), by transmuting energy(electricity/combustion) into mechanic motion. The term, "engine" actually means anything that is used to effect a purpose. To us the term usually connotes internal combustion/steam, but a battering ram was an, "engine of war". Not that this will help you get your car motorized, but I couldn't help indulging in a little semantic gymnastics. Check with Brian at gbodyparts.com. I was looking for a engine a couple weeks ago, and he offered a low mileage 109(long block) at a really nice price.

i have a rebuilt stock block with only about 800 miles on it- it ran fine- putting in a roller motor with billet caps for more power. best offer around $2200.
