I have a hydrolic roller cam setup. What should I torque the bolt on the front of the camshaft that holds the timing gear on to? TIA

The Weber Racing kits get torqued to 70ft. lbs. Yours may vary depending on who's kit it is.

Im not sure whos kit it is. The cam is made by Comp and the thurst is set with shims that have a c-clip holding them on (if that helps figure out whos kit it is).

BTW, thanks for your reply.

ps, should I use red or blue loctite on it?
pss 70ft lbs sounds like an aweful lot for that bolt! That wasnt a typo, was it??

That does sound like way too much torque...if I tried that on mine the bolt would have snapped off...I have the ATR roller kit... I just put some blue loctite on and tightened the bolt up...didn't use a torque wrench...no problems yet...about a 1000 miles on the motor...

Comp 210/210 billet core here. 50ft*lbs on the bolt, oil in the threads.

Side note:
Pull the cam sensor and look for gear wear after the first 50-100 miles. Some, perhaps lots... have been doing that. (mine did)
