Hurst olds shifter

i have a hurst olds shifter from 84 hurst olds what shifter cable can I get to work with it . With out buying a 140 cable on eBay . I have ordered shifter brackets .now I just need a cable . Another ? how hard is to modify console and whose shifter plate did u use . Also any pics would be great . thanks regal we4

don't have pictures of when I installed them. Cut the original shift plate to clear the rods. Made my own rubber wiper gasket. Used door sweep for the bristles sweep along the main shift rod. The shifter came with all the old's mounts bolted right in. Found a old's shift cable on ebay for i think less than $60. G body parts was working on some lighting rods and parts could look there.

What did u make rubber gasket out of plus how did u mount it in shifter assembly plus how did mount bristles swipes ? Sorry for a lot of ? Can u email me a phone number to ask more ? Thanks regalwe4@aol.com Kevin
