How Wide Can I Go????

Can you please tell me .....What is the widest tire/rim that I could use on the rear of my 1983 Buick Regal T-Type without any modifications? In need of much traction :biggrin: ....THANKS!!!

Without notching the frame, 9.5" wide wheels is as far as guys usually go. Some guys are able to get 10" to fit, but usually it requires a frame notch.

I've got 275X40X17 goodyear f1gsd3 on my 9.5s in the rear.

On a 15x8 wheel with a 4.5" bs, I have 10.5x28x15 M/T's. No mods at all....including fender lips.
