You can't change anything with Direct Scan, only read the various sensors and ECM parms as the engine is running to know if it is tuned correctly.
First you need to learn what all the various parms are and what they mean, those can be found by simply doing a search on here or gnttype.org for each parm you see on there.
Tune by adjusting fuel pressure, timing, and fueling, either with a Translator + or similar device or changing the parms in the chip itself, or lowering or upping boost with an adjustable arm actuator or other device.
