how to tell a bad wastegate from a good one

anyone know how?? i have an adj and a stocker. The adj worked fine great in fact. car felt quicker. The stocker is still good, car runs good also. I was just wondering how i could tell if i have a bad unit or not?? or a worn seal inside or wearing out etc. IF so would it cause the car to run way out of wack?? I've been wanting to just go with a deltagate but any thoughts, feedback?? thanks

if not then if i wanted to sell my adj wastegate, how much could i get for it. In good shape, lets see. TR got the new engine back in 90's (idk 95) this wastegate was bought brand new before n left on the extra TR engine i have. So im gonna say its MINT, or damn near NEW"old stock" haha. how much do these things go for??


reason, idk im thinking about selling my TR. Get me a house or idk save n build. I love my TR but would love a home for myself.Sure others ways but IDK of them.
