its a long block (minus intake, turbo, etc.)
any casting numbers or obvious clues?
Thanks in advance

Casting # 25526109.Check to make sure the block has a turbo oil drain hole on the front of the block on the upper passeger side.Just to make sure it's a turbo block because 86-7 n/a blocks are also 109 blocks.

The casting # on the side of the block will end in "109". Also, there will be a drilled and tapped boss for the turbo oil return tube, just under the front intake rail. These are probably the most obvious. Brian

The year code may be part of the partial VIN number stamped on the block itself, near the second transmission bolt hole on the drivers side of the block vertically.

What's the complete code numbers off it?
