How to ID a fuel pump? I think this is a Red's XP..

I've had this pump for a while. I think it's a Red's XP but it has NO markings on it. You can see where someone sanded the side of the housing (to remove the AC part number, maybe?) It has a red top and the tan AC bottom. The top has a tan tie-wrap around it.

Sound familiar to anyone?


I've got it for sale but don't want to represent it as something it's not.

I called Red Armstrong himself and he verified that it is one of his pumps but was built prior to 1997. Of course it's been on my shelf since about 2000!
