How often do you guys survice your transmissions?

good question. i would like to know as well. i would think as long as it doesnt start to flare its fine. also depends on how fast your car is and how built your trans is

I service all my vehicles once a year no matter if they need it or not. Does not give the fluid time to varnish from being in there with all that (desert southwest) heat. All my cars have coolers on them except for 4Runner but all past cars have had trannies in them at least 8 years straight without a problem. Only costs fluid, filter and time.

35K or so.

Stocker didn't flare until the power went up at 125K or so miles.

2-3 flare only.

I run the Kenne Bell smaller sized cooler on one car and a Pep Boys mid-size cooler on the other car.

Got the PTS shallow pans on both cars after their rebuilds.

anybody knows where to get a 200 gasket and a 700 filter as a kit?

I personally do mine twice a year at least but I drive my car a lot when its running (which is rare anymore )

I just bought a spare tranny pan and put a drain plug kit in the bottom of it to make changing the fluid easier,and less messy!
