How much does the front end of a gn weigh?

or atleast the engine? or what im really after is, how much less does it weigh than a mcss with a 305 trying to figure out front springs and i know what some moogs did for my GN and i want to know about how much different the same springs will be with a heavier v8.

I think this what your after. The LC2 is 21.4 kg or 47.1 lbs heavier than the LD5 base engine and the Chev 305 (4BBL) is 53.2 kg or 117.2 lbs greater than the LD5. This comes from published MVMA specs for the 1987 Regal. After doing some subtraction I believe the LD5 weighs in at about 408.8 lbs.
