How hard is it to change the shfit cable for our cars?

1 1/2 hours prolly the first time.
Pull the console 4 screws and just remove and reinstall keeping the hardware in the same location on the new one.
Not too bad a job if you can get the console out of the way easily.
I angled mine out of the way of the left side where the cable goes through the floorboard, and didn't have to remove the shift knob or anything.
Shifter in neutral helps move the console, so chock the wheels on a flat surface so it can't roll and put the emergency brake on if you jack up the car to get under there to work down at the tranny connections.
