Houston Buick Club @ Lucky`s Rod Run - Jan. 4th.

We will meet the Austin County Cruisers @ the Exxon Station on 290 & 1488, pull out at 7:30 am sharp, head up to Bryan-College Station . Gotta get there early for a good parking spot. Last year over 500 vehicles showed up.

The Lucky`s Rod Run is always scheduled for the first Sunday in January of each year.

This year it will be Sunday, January 4, 2009.

Hundreds of Street Rodders will make their journey to Bryan-College Station to join fellow rodders from all parts for this once a year event!

It is not only safer but more enjoyable to travel together with cool rides and an awesome display.

This run usually has around 300+ cars in attendance. Really a nice cruise and lots of sweet cars.
Not much of a cruise for me, 10-12 minute drive, but I will be there.

Some of the guys from the "Austin Buick Club" are showing up for this event. All cars are welcome, not just Hot Rods, several classic & muscle cars will be there. Maybe some from the LSPBC will make the trip?

The weather turned rainy & cold today , but still had a good time . We
(Myself, Steve Campbell, Chris Adams, Tim Adams, George Winterburn,
Frank Brooks) followed the Austin County Cruisers up from Houston. My
son Ryan was coming up later, but blew a head gasket on his GN & had
to turn around, -- I don`t know how he did that just "cruisin" up
there with J.D. Brooks & Tim Wendeberg ? . Will Wheeler was
there. E.J. Howe was coming in his BBB powered Regal, but turned
around when the rain started. Drag radials don`t do good in rain. Ron
Norquist came on up. The Austin Buicks gang made the trip, enjoyed
seeing them & eating a great burger @ the Chicken Oil Co. Todd Kay was
there, he lives in Bryan. Approx 300 plus vehicles showed up despite
the weather. Dan should have pictures on The Houston Buick Club soon.

Had a good time even with bad weather. Good to see some of the other Buicks roll into BCS.
I did have to do my annual burn out in front of Chicken Oil!

It`s amazing what you can do with photo shop now- a- days, lol . Thanks for the compliment. I`ll keep on Dan to post pics on HBC website. I did not take alot, too windy, too cold, I`m too old.
