Homemade 4" inlet cold air (pics)

Just wanted to post some pictures of my home made 4" inlet cold air piping.

It sure is a tight fit!

Using a 9" tall by 8" diameter conical K&N filter.

Do you guys think i should leave it polished or paint it black to match the rest?

The piping, couplers, t-bolt clamps, and filter came to about 200$ all together
