Hello to all, this is my first post , and probably not the last . I have a 1985 GN , that is a pretty good car, good at frustrating me that is . I have a code 42 ,and the car will not start now, I have replaced the coil , already to no avail . I have seen the the definition of what code 42 is , but since this is my first GN , can't quite figure out what I need to start checking first. Any helpfull advice would be appriciated very much. Thank you Jerryl for responding , I got it to start today :biggrin: I belive it was just a bad ground , I hope " finger's crossed" . I got it to fire up and the code did not come back . I was jumping up and down like a kid at Christmas time :biggrin: . For now she is alive Thanks again for the helpful info
