Northern Auto Parts sold me a Clevite 601-5000 oil pick up screen and tube for my 84 turbo engine..I compared to the old one to the new..The old one is almost straight and the new one has a pronounce dog leg and loop in it.. the engine was cobbled together and had #1 rod in backwards so I figure they used the wrong pickup hopefully and now I have the correct one?? Anyone have a photo of a known correct one for the 84-85 cars?? If the new one I have is not correct I wonder what it fits??? THANKS.. mike

the straight one is the correct one. clean and reuse it if possible.

Send it back and buy a new one from GM.
