Heat from under dash

I am getting a lot of heat from under my dashboard and through my vents. Even if the air is set to cool I get heat like my heater is running. Would it be the control or something else? Help is appreciated.

It could be the hot water valve in inoperative for some reason. Could be the valve is bad, the vacuum line is cracked or something wrong with the heater control. Do you have the manual or digital heater control?

Manual. It feels like it "slips" when it is moved from hot to cold.

Check to see if the arm or shaft on the temperature door in the heater box is broken. It's a common problem.

Behind the glove box. Drop the box using the metal clip so you can see better.

Hi,
I'll bet the blend door is not functioning properly. You should be able to slide the control from warm to cool, and hear the door shut at each end. Does this happen? If not,as the man said, drop the glove box and have a look/see. No blend door function will make your life miserable. Good luck!

I am having the same issue. What position should the door be in? Forward or aft when in cold? I have the digital crap.
