where is the best and cheapest place to buy thee fabric for the headliner???
I also need the rear retaining clips.

good luck on the retaining clips, if you guy them used, watch out, if you find them new, let me know where since I will soon be doing my head liner in the 81, I bought mine last from a el camino restorer who use to buy out gm dealers stock on all dis continued parts

I did mine...

Mine was from Jax seat covers but others have gotten it from fabric
stores.

Thick foam backing and a decent color match in gray.

$10.99 a yard by 60".

I still haven't got mine done yet so I don't know the difficulty factor involved with the thick material just yet.

It looks great in the closet however.
