I have a set of 980 springs to go my car but have come across a nice set of ported heads i am going to buy. I know that some say if you havent blown a HG dont mess with the heads. But hey, we're talking some more HP here so what do you think? I have a pt54, FMIC, 50lb injectors etc so i think heads are holding me back with this turbo. Is it worth doing a cam at the same time? Only problem is I dont know the milage on my engine since i bought it with a 87 conversion and it was a theft recovery car.....
Would it be a good idea to do a compression test? What should i be looking for as far as compression?
