has anyone ever changed their fluid and filter and eliminated flaring...

i am just curious...i was going to take my car over to kmart to have the trans flushed and refilled with fluid and have them change the filter also....i just want to know if anyone has had any luck with this procedure eliminating flaring....i mean...the trans shifts great when it is cold but once it gets hot it doesn't want to shift right....has anyone done this before.....

I agree.. Nope. My transmission guy stated it pretty plainly and thus far I have found what he said to be right on.

"Once a 200 flaires it will always flair"

Rebuild time I would guess.
