from an 87 gn basicly, can i remove the engine/trans harness and ecm while still leaving the rest of the car wiring in tact, i'd like to sell the car as a useable roller and dont wanna chop the car harness up, also whats the easiest way to get everything out cleanly, i've never pulled a turbo harness out

Very easy to do. You basically have two connections going into the fire wall. One is the C100 connector by the steering column/brake booster. One 8mm headed bolt and that comes off. The other is under the HVAC module for the ECM. Thats a tougher one. There is a metal lock bracket held down with two screws. You may have to loosen the plastic wheel house to make enough room to squeeze your hand up in there. Once the bracket is removed disconnect the ECM and dash side wire harness and pull the harness out through the engine side of the firewall. There are also a couple of jumper wires but you should be able to figure those out. Everything else is attached to the motor.
