Gunk in turbo inlet

I pulled my intake tubing off today just for fun and saw this:

Never seen that before. Should I be concerned? Is that from "sneezing"? Or is it a trail from sucking in dirty/oily air?

Looks like it was blown away from the compressor wheel. Oil in the intercooler maybe???

My stocker turbo does the same thing in the WE4.............. curious as well........ obviously the car has the breather bypass......

I guess I won't worry about it then. I never noticed that before, or maybe it's just been an unusually long time since I've had the inlet tubing off.

I've owned 3 different TRs and a TTA with different turbos and they all did that to some extent. I was never worried about it because it never got worse on any of the cars. Of course none of my cars we ever garage queens and I run miles on them often, sometimes daily.
